At the end of the night he grabs her arm and pulls her into him. They get lost in each other’s eyes and share a kiss that threatens to break the laws of gravity. She pulls back. Her body can't handle more. "Who are you? How are you able to do this to me?" His smile weakens her body evermore "10 years ago, you fell in love with a boy." The world and everything around her fades away. She hangs on his lips "I'm not a boy anymore. I can take care of you."

As foreign as it might seem, some men do actually grow up, and lots of women as well. Don't judge someone based on who they were, get to know who they are.
awwww.....that is so sweet! Girly butterflies and lumps in the throat backed with tears to the eyes
ReplyDeletevery romantic and love the message
ReplyDeleteDo you have all the lady followers or what? lol.
ReplyDeletethis is definitely my problem, i'm too quick to assume other people's personalities. i don't actually try to "get to know who they are". and i now i realize that i'm definitely missing out getting to know more about great people i've judged in th past :/ this entry is probably a stepping stone for me to change that bad habit. thank you.
ReplyDeleteanyway, i couldn't help but read other comments but wow.. everyone's awed by your talent. good job!
wow! Louis, u have no idea how much i want to believe this today!!

ReplyDeleteSome men do grow up.. the hardest way.
ReplyDeleteAnd some girls get to win something with that...
Very sweet and romantic. Thanks for following my blog...glad to see their is another guy with a romantic side out there! :) You are very talented writer by the way.
ReplyDeleteIt can be very difficult to leave our perceptions of someone at the door and give them the fresh start we too would want if the tables were turned. But how amazingly wonderful it is when we manage to get over ourselves and allow them to sweep us off our feet!!! Great post Louis!
ReplyDeleteI love this! Actually I've loved everything I've read so far on your blog :).
ReplyDeleteYou are very young to be so deep. Some men and some women do grow up, depending what decade they were born into. This decade now...most live for today, no cares what tomorrows may bring. Most won't grow up.I've seen this more and more. And I've seen alot.My very own daughter is just now waking up to what I've been saying and she has made a very big turn around. I'm very proud of her. Now she lives in the REAL world. You have a wonderful blog here.Your a very good writer.I loved your post below also. So many people want more than they have and end up with so little in the end. If only they took care of what they had, it might have grown into something bigger all on its own. But it want it now,so go sell your soul to the devil...He'll gladly take it...Marie Antionette
