Today we're blessed by a beautiful cameo from a great friend of mine. SereneChaos brings us the following:

I know you feel deserted
and your pain is hard to bare,
that the more you look
the less you see
a loved one who may care.
although your heart is breaking
as you wipe away a tear
remember while you feel this way,
beloved, I am here!

although your very instinct
is to drive me far from you,
though scolding words are what you say
when you know not what to do,
while your heart and soul are screaming
at the thought of being here,
even though you cannot see me,
beloved, I am near.

so break down;
fall apart for now.
scream at me if you will.
I know you cannot understand
the reason for this all.
and when this pain is over
you may feel you’ve all but died,
You’d be surprised to know,
beloved,
I never left your side!
