I know

I can see the pain you try to hide
I see all the things you try to keep inside
I know all about your lonely heart
And how you feel like you’ve failed before your start

I know how worthless and empty you feel
When you search so hard but find nothing real
And I know how many tears you cried
When you felt like no one was one your side

You don’t realize yet, but I promise you this
Without you this world would be amiss
You’re beautiful beyond compare
When you give your all with nothing to spare

You feel that all your agony has no reason
But hold on, it’s almost your season
You’ll blossom and bloom to your heart’s content
You’re becoming the rose your pain has mend

-- God

  10. This touches one's heart deeply--that sense of knowing it all is not in vain, that there is purpose. there is indeed too also senseless evil but God has a way of working it around too yet often we have to keep an eternal perspective to numb the pain of abuse, and so on. A great great post as always. You are so gifted and i hope you post a series of your excellent reflections over Christmas if you can. I love your stuff so much and miss you not writing as much.

  11. "You'll blossom and bloom..."
One can only hope... and when that happens... I know who I'll owe it (a big bit) to... :)

    Miss you,

  12. Well written Louis. I hope (and I'm sure) there are people who will get a lot from this. It's something for all of us to think about actually.
