turning the page

My days turn like pages in a book.
A tedious book.

I have no choice but to live each day, to read each page.
Nothing happens.

I imagine the book taking me places I’ve never been.
It doesn’t.

I want the story to build up to something amazing.
It never does.

So I wake up to another day...

I turn another page...

.
.
.

How mundane...

Nicely put, Louis!Your post reminded me of this:
Keep reading the book of life, the next page might be the one you're waiting for.

Ahhh...so that's why you;re not writing as much. Love your posts. Sometimes it can feel very much this way and sometimes, it can get out of hand. not sure which is worst.

If we were going through the motions then how is that we feel love, hate, fear and so much more every day and why is that the time when we most feel alive is when our heart aches or our minds race. It seems to me that when were living it feels as if were going through the motions but when were actually going through the motions it feels as if were living.

Well put Louis. As my favourite author and fitness guru put it "Start driving and stop just going along for the ride". We spend far too much of our time not actively participating and trying to make the world a better place. Thank you for your writing. You're certainly accomplishing that.

I think we all get to this place at some point and time in our life. The idea, is to eventually push past it and to begin living again!

For some reason, your writing here has caused me to feel something very deep within myself. Thanks for taking me there!

Slide for a moment into a few months back... remember all our "theories"? The ones that brought us together?
Let's make this another one...
